CIMC Adventure to Galena IL – March 2024

Club member, Jan, is hosting a trip to Galena, IL, on March 23. How awesome is that?? WAY! 😁 👍 👏
Here’s some info from Jan and an update on accommodations, tho you’re welcome to stay wherever you like.
“If you’ve never been to Galena before, it’s a very fun and historical place with oodles of great shopping. The overnight destination is the pub.
FOR THOSE GOING TO GALENA on March 23rd, and staying at the Irish cottage hotel, see below for confirming your room at the $189 price, plus $20 for amenities, full breakfast, etc. Regular room rate is $249 so it is a discount.

Your room block has been loaded in our system and is now available for guests to book reservations. Thank you again for allowing us to host your group. Guests can make reservations by calling (866) 284-7474 and asking for the Mini Cooper Club room block or guests may make reservations online. The link is:

Guests will then put in their arrival and departure dates and put the code MCC24 in the Group Code space. This will pull up your group rate that they can book for their stay.”

CIMC Annual Meeting – March 2024
When: This Sunday, March 3, at 1:30 PM.
Where: The Pizza Ranch is the place, 4954 86th Street, in Urbandale.
What’s happenning:
Upon arrival, you’ll pay:
Adult $16.99
Senior $13.99
Kids to 12 is $1 per year of age
Salad Bar only (for those supermodels) $10.99
Then, find the meeting room located by the drink station. Grab a seat, get situated, and head out for food. We’ll eat first and then conduct club business. There will be plenty of time to grab seconds, so don’t worry. I’ve learned over the years that besides our MINI’s, we love eating. 🤪 Don’t forget to RSVP, with the number attending, by midnight, Friday, March 1.
As previously mentioned, we are in need of additional board members due to resignations. Three positions are open. If you’re interested in serving on the board but are unable to attend the meeting, please get in touch. The times they are a changing and the club is in dire need of member participation, on and off, the board. Let’s look toward the future and make CIMC the bestest yet! 😁
Club sweatshirts (black & red), t-shirts (black & white), some misc shirts, travel mugs, and grille badges will be available to purchase. Prices range from $15 to $30.
